Hopefully there is a season 2 coming soon. Surprisingly, the children's acting is far superior to the adults' acting. Not likely to win any awards or make it to the big screen, but it's good for what it is. The plot and acting were fairly good for a Disney show. Even my 38 year-old husband got into the series and got annoyed when we watched an episode without him and Insisted we rewind it. This show was creepy and mysterious enough to keep you interested, but not so scary to deter younger children. It reminds me of those "quality" Disney shows we remember from back in the day where the story was family oriented but engaging across the age span. However, we both agree that they don't make them like that anymore. I always loved watching Disney with her because it brought back the nostalgia of my childhood watching The Famous Jett Jackson, Fastforward, and Even Stevens. When Topher, Zoey and Wyatt came to her seeking help with a ghost, she was initially willing to help but, after learning that the ghost was haunting the Tremont, she declared that she could not help and told them to leave. In 2020, an elderly Ruby was running a small business as a spiritualist named Madame Levereaux. While living up north, Daisy married for a second time and had another daughter, Marie.Īt some point after Sam disappeared in 1962, Ruby returned to Sulphur Springs and began living in the small house near the swamp where her grandfather Elijah, her mother and her uncle had all lived after being forced to leave their farm in 1930. ![]() ![]() Daisy later told Ruby to never return to the hotel. Unwilling to let himself be blackmailed, the judge decided to keep her quiet more directly. When her suspicions were confirmed by Savannah Dillon, Ruby went to his room where she confronted the judge, demanding that he confess to stealing her family's property or she would expose him by revealing where he had hidden the money. After the judge and some of his wealthy friends were victimized by an investment fraud, Ruby suspected that he was actually the perpetrator. However, knowing of how Judge Walker had stolen the property from her family in 1930, Ruby often secretly spied on him, hoping to learn about some criminal activity that she could use to force him to return her family's land. In 1947, Daisy was working at the Tremont and Ruby worked alongside her. Since Daisy needed to work to support herself and her daughter and the Tremont Hotel had a job opening, she reluctantly began working there as a housemaid. ![]() Ruby was born in the late 1930s and was the first and only child that Daisy Tremont had with her first husband.Īs some point, Ruby's father passed away.
